The Reverse Linkage projects are bringing out positive and sustainable changes to various community groups in IsDB member countries. The Bank uses Reverse Linkage to facilitate the exchange of expertise, technology and resources among its member countries in order to tackle their development challenges.
Since 2013, IsDB and its partners supported a number of Reverse Linkage projects and sub-projects, amounting to more than US$ 219 million, with the aim of achieving sustainable development results. More than 33 provider and recipient member countries have participated in these projects so far, and the list is continuously expanding as demand increases. Reverse linkage projects cover a wide range of sectors and thematic areas including, but not limited to, health, education, agriculture and food security, renewable energy, and disaster risk management.
