The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has approved approximately US$418 million to fund new development projects in member countries, the bank said in a statement on Saturday.

The Government of Pakistan and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) have signed financing agreements for the Sindh Flood Emergency Housing Reconstruction Project which aims to construct 700,000 houses benefiting an estimated 4.2 million people in rural areas.

IsDB Group has signed a US$120 million agreement with Türkiye’s Ministry of Treasury and Finance to contribute to the country’s reconstruction and recovery plan that strives to fully restore the delivery of urgent and critical health services to the earthquake-affected areas.
